Alright, while i've been low carb-ing it, i have lost inches, something totally new for me-- does this mean i'm on the mend? Now, when I say i've lost inches, i mean i have, but i've also gained as well.
i am following the south beach diet (minus the meat and inserting soy products). If it is something like candida (i am feeling this is probably it, as i had a yeast infection on my neck a couple months back) am i still able to lose weight, but just at a slower rate, or will i just lose a pound or two and be all bloated? I'll have to work at figuring out what i am allergic to, it is so odd, i have noticed that when i am following this diet, the first measurement to go down is my waist or hip, and alternately, the first to rise is my belly. when i should fall off, my belly goes back down and my waist and hips are on the rise again. bummer, but at least it is predictable i guess.
here are a couple days worth of totals that i consumed:
Totals (cals)990 (fat)76 (carb)10 (protein)29
1369 98 28 82
1295 91 23 88
1058 80 15 59
those should be fairly typical of my daily consumptions. any thoughts, concerns, etc more than welcome, just working to figure out the best way to go.
thought i'd throw in measurements to help visualize things:
ORIGINAL MEASUREMENTS:
Waist: 29 in
Belly: 31 in
Hip: 37 in
Bust: 35.5 in
Arm: 10.5 in
Leg: 21 in
After about 4 days of following the diet:
Waist: 28 in -1
Belly: 32 in +1
Hip: 36 in -1
Bust: 35 in -.5
Arm: 10.5 in -.5
Leg: 20.5 in -.5
then i woopsed, so this is after 2 days off (though still remotely aware of 'carbs')
Waist: 28in -1
Belly: 31.5 in +.5 -- note belly went down in measurement
Hip: 36.5 in -.5 -- note this did not :-(
Bust: 35.5 in -.5
Arm: 10.5 in same
Leg: 21 in same
