Good Morning!
It was a little misty out when I went for my walk this morning. I stopped and talked to a neighbor for about 20 minutes, she gave me some great gardening tips, then I resumed my walk. After a bit it started to rain. Good thing I had tied a hooded jacket around my waist! I did pretty much the whole three miles in pouring rain. It's a good thing I'm from Washington and that I love the rain! Now I'm in jammies wrapped in a blanket! I feel really good that I got my walk in. I wasn't able to walk yesterday, no one was here to stay with the kids, so I guess I'll walk again tomorrow to make up for it.
Dawn - Hey, I want an omelet, do you have any on that buffet, or do I have to go make my own?

Good morning everyone!!
Ok, I got my run/walk in today. I tried a new program routine but didn't like this one as much. Glad there are lots to try because it has helped with variety. Still not doing much with weight resistance. Need to get at that though because I think I could benefit.
Weight is still at 168.5. Finishing TOM and been having more with salty stuff. I know water weight should hopefully come off soon.
Was looking at self in the mirror today. I actually can do that now and not get so upset. I really am starting to like what I see. There is even some definition. I will try to figure out how to get a picture posted, I haven't figured it out yet with my computer.
Didn't get to the buffalo dip yet! But I have it planned so I will keep you posted.
Bawdy did you try the soup? I know that at this stage 5 lbs in 3 days would be way to much because my body is already in a losing mode so I don't think it would shock my system like someone who is new to PP. I just think it would be a good supplement. Did you find a Book club yet? How about one online?
Off to clean and sew. I will check later

Haven't tried the soup.
No time for a book club at this point. Work is too busy. I have really only one day during which I get lonely, and maybe that's a good thing. I don't want to totally obliterate my emotions. Know what I mean? I think it's good to experience your full emotions.

How's it going? I'm doing good with the eating part, but I'm not eating enough calories. I eat eggs, tuna, chicken, some vegetables and 1 serving of fruit everyday. I have no desire to eat bread, tortillas or pasta. I am cooking with olive oil, as suggested. I'm going to have a protein shake with fruit and milk today. I eat cheese and drink FF milk every other day, and consume 1000 mg of calcium supplement (powdered form) in water everyday. I'm going to Curves this afternoon, cleaning, doing Pilates and P90 at home.
I think I will try low-carb spaghetti with chicken and veggies for lunch. Up my calories in. I am losing 1/2 lb almost every other day.

Hi all!
Dawn, I LOve the buffet idea, How about some grilled chicken strips atop of greens,peppers and some pepper jack(lightly grated) on top???
our grocery store has had nothing but ICEBERG so I am going into green withdrawels!! They are forcasting very severe weather so I can't go down the road to the big city and get my lc stuff!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: Ah well atleast we are getting moisture!
Song , it sounds like your early morning exercise is working out well, I work out at night and it is easier to put off!!! :nono:
Bawdy, It is a good thing that you are so busy, but you are right that you need an "emotion day" !!!
Cindy, can you give me an idea of what you are eating?? Are you experiencing ketos s?? My calories are WAY to high!!!!! :bash:

Hello! Not sure if I should reply to this particular thread. I have read the Protein Power Book this week. Have been living the Atkins way with no results in the last 6 weeks. I would LOVE to hear the pros about this. Thanks in advance.
Just read the switch or not to switch thread.....sorry. I will keep reading the threads and the book. Thanks
