New to this forum, but not new to LC.

Did really well for about 9 months, lost 17kg and then just totally slacked off, holidays, more holidays, vacation, etc (any excuse, heehee). Weight slowly came back, but not all, thank God!! Anyway, am trying to get back to this WOE for good!!

I'm glad I found this forum, it looks like just the support I need.

Sometimes, when we know the background of someone else's sucess, one doesn't feel so alone. I mean, I know we're not, but it makes it easier.

Well, I'm not in Dubai, but am in Egypt. Both countries have the same official language, so do I count? Low carbing sure is difficult here, I wonder how you are managing. Looking forward to talking to you!

Ooh, how interesting! I didn't realize we had people posting from the UAE!

I've been there, but only once. My in-laws were living in Abu Dhabi as expats for a while (they are Dutch). I went out and visited them, and we went to every Emirate and into the mountains of Oman a little.

Noura80, I remember the big souk in Sharjah. It was so pretty. :wave:
