May I suggest you use one of the many abandoned groups and/or
start your own, which you can do Tom without much problem.
That way there would be no comment, which practice is the
normal and usual practice; one which invites reaction by the
act of putting it out there for others to consider. It is not
a bully pulput from which to do one way lectures.

I've done the same for years. A device you might want to try
is: insert some alphanumeric into the posts that you want to
be sure and recall. Say...at the bottom of the post put in the
alphanumeric: 2.50673445

Then, years later when you Google search the NGs, merely use
THAT as your keyword for retrieval.
