Welcome April! You will certainly find this a place full of great ideas, guidance, and inspiration! I spent hours reading these forums before I even started Atkins and before I ever posted, hehe. I still spend time each night reading and reading. Hope you will find it as big of a resource and help! YOu may want to think about starting a journal - it has really been a huge help for me. Also, www.fitday.com is the best for keeping track of your daily intake, graphing your weight, etc. so you may want to check it out. Welcome again and best of luck with you new WOL!

Hi Aprilellen and welcome to the TDC Forum :D

This place is very supportive and I hope you can find some good ideas here. I truly believe that this way of eating helps fight eating disorders since it helps get rid of hunger and cravings, at least it has helped me.
It's great to have you here and I'm looking forward to seeing you around

Aprilellen - Glad to see you here. Please stay and work at this with me and others. I have binge disorder myself plus I've been on steroids for 5 years so it's not a good combo. We'll beat this thing but we HAVE to stay focused. O.K.? O.k. :)

Thankyou everyone its nice to hear from people that are behind me and the protein way of living I was on protein power plan 3and a half years ago for 9 months and lost 120 lbs Im hoping to do it again this time I dont plan on getting pregnant I gained it all back since getting pregnant and having a Dr. telling me I only lost water weight and I was probably more unhealthy now than when I had not done the protein way of living he put me on low fat and what I didnt gain from the pregnancy I did from the diet all he could say was I was obviously cheating and maybe we should look into gastric bypass I just gave up on him then and got another Dr. and he told me to find a diet and stick to it I asked him about protein diets and he said if it works for me go for it. later all and thankyou again....Aprilellen

Welcome to the forum Aprilellen! I just love your name, it is so cheerful sounding. The TDC has been a wonderful thing for me as it is so helpful to meet people that are facing many of the same issues and challenges along this road. These folks help me keep a sense of humor and there is always someone to talk to during a rough time and we all have them. You might want to consider a journal at some point as that helps you to get to know folks a bit better and record your thoughts and feelings as you move along. Welcome Home!
