Does anyone who's been experiencing the stress-reducing benefits of Relacore have any experince with 5-HTP?
How do these 2 products compare?
Thanks!

Now what's 5-HTP? Is it suppose to do what Relacore does? Where do I get information on it?
Thanks. Cats

Hey Cats,
5-HTP, (also known as 5-hydroxytryptophan) is the immediate precursor of serotonin. (Low levels of serotonin are associated with sleep problems, depression, anxiety, compulsive disorders, etc.)
It's also supposed to help with appetite control and weight loss.
It worked for my anxiety and stress for awhile and stopped after a couple of weeks. I tried cycling it, but that didn't help.
I'm hoping that someone has experience with both 5-HTP and with Relacore and can compare the effects of both on stress reduction. (Although I know the personal milage may vary :) )
HTH!

Hi Valerie.
I finally went and got some of the Relacore today. I've only taken 1 pill, but I've noticed that I'm not having that anxious feeling as much. I'm feeling a lot more mellow.
I will keep you updated though.
