Has anyone else noticed that Crystal Light has 1 carb/serving, while SugarFree Kool-Aid has only .2 carb/serving? What's up with that? I always assumed that they were just different flavours of basically the same stuff. They're both made by Kraft, and have the same ingrediants. But according to the nutritional information on the boxes, Crystal Light has 5 TIMES more carbs than SugarFree Kool-Aid.
What gives?

Hmmm....I have CL Pineapple Orange and Raspberry Lemonade and both say 0 carbs per serving, although I did buy some Wyler's Light once and it had 2 carbs per serving. What flavors do you have that list one carb?

Crystal Light Lemonade
Ingredients
Citric Acid Provides Tartness , Potassium Citrate Controls acidity , Aspartame Sweetener , Maltodextrin From Corn , Magnesium Oixide Prevents Caking , Natural Flavor , Acesulfame Potassium Sweetner , Lemon Juice Solids , Artificial Color , Yellow 5 Lake , BHA Preserves Freshness , Phenylketonurics Contains Phenylalanine
I suspect that the 2 ingredients which I highlighted are responsible.

i believe as long as the crystal light has 5 calories there is at least 1 gr. of carb per serving. i think xxxomnixxx is right it is those ingredients or the citric acid (i know fruit juices have carbs) that count. remember the makers can list 0 carbs if it is less than one full gram. if it has calories it has to have something else in it (i.e. carbs, fat, protein, something).
i count the crystal light as 1 gr. of carb per serving. I LOVE THEIR Crystal Light Orange Sunrise Flavor tastes like regular orange juice with only 1 carb.

Are you talking about the unsweetened kool-aid packets? Crystal light is already artificially sweeteneed and kool-aid isn't, I think that's why. By the time you add sweetener to your kool-aid it will probably be the same or higher.
