Good Morning Everyone!

My dh is leaving for Oregon today. He took me to Sizzler last night for a nice steak dinner. It was nice to have a night out with him.

I made 24 thank you cards yesterday. I'm a rubber stamper, and I made them with a cute vase and flower stamp. They're for our teachers at church. Well, I'll stop by again later, I need to get breakfast and off to church.

Oh, its another rainy day in Georgia...and when I woke up this morning I thought...oh..I just want to have a lazy day today, go nowhere, do nothing. Hubby had one eye open, and I shared w/him how I was feeling..he said..hey if its ok w/you I would just assume stay in bed this morning to.. So we are playing hookie from church today.

You may be thinkiing..well..why is Dawn here online instead of in bed sleeping in?

Once I declared to myself that it was ok to sleep in.. two things happened:

1) hubby began to snore
2) I was now wide awake!

ARGH!..So I thought I would come putter here, and maybe make my postcards that I am going to send to my clients this month instead of a newsletter. Going to try that for a change, see if that gets better results. :)

Talk later I am sure. Oh.. next week on the food network, they are having a low carb special.

Woke up to blue skies, sunshine and 40 degrees. How irritating to have it look so nice and be so cold. But, it is supposed to cloud up by noon and rain again.

Song-sounds like you are in Primary?? I have a friend here who makes all her own cards, stamping and stuff, they are just beautiful.

Dawn-too funny about sleeping in. If I think about it, I am usually lying there wide awake, and if I just try to sleep in, the kids come in and wake me up to see if it is ok for something?, so, either way, I dont get to sleep in much.
But, sounds like a nice morning for you to have to yourself.

Ellie-Finally started TOM this morning-so hopefully my mood will be better today. Hope the same to you :)

Acipenser-I love partylite candles! I never was a candle burner until I moved here and now I buy them all the time. They are great! Of course, going out after sounds like fun too !! :)

Bawdy-our thoughts are still with you!!

OH. yes.. forgot to respond about the candles.. You are looking at the QUEEN of candles..I love'em! Mom keeps me in stock by sending me yankee candles all the time. I do tend to stay w/tealights at the office..I have made serious messes with candles there! *ut oh!*

I am so hungry this morning..I ate sopapillas, strawberries and turkey bacon for breakfast..and thinking. man that didnt stick with me for long..but doh..I have had this food network channel on.. think I should change it or turn it off..LMAO..slaps her forehead!

Starting my postcards now.. lol. its already 11 am..and the king is still sleeping....

i actually laughed out loud at this one!!!

i have a snoring bf also!! it took me so long before i actually got a good nights sleep. i think i spent the first 6 months of us living together with earplugs in!!!! i have the same troubles with sleeping in though. if it is not the kids, i have to get up to pee and when i try to get back to bed "the king" is sawing logs and i just lay there....hehe

i also started TOM yesterday. seems like a lot of us are on similar cycles. do you think the thing about women being together all the time get on the same cycle holds true across the internet???? something to think about today......

orang-- i tried the "brownie" recipe you posted with the flax,nutmeal,and protein power. they have a good taste but are so crumbly they wouldn't come out of the muffin pan in one piece (not to mention they stuck like crazy, probably shoulda used liners) were yours crumbly as well? or did i do something wrong??

well. i think i will try to be productive this morning and do some yardwork.

Good afternoon :) No relief from TOM issues :( It is not due for another week so I don't know how long this will drag on. I have an appt with the doctor at the end of this month. I am still convienced that it is hormonal in which case I don't see how a D&C will help. It isn't just spotting, it is the whole hormone thing. It really sucks!

Went to see Godsend last night, I thought it was pretty good. LOL....this lady sitting in the row in front of us was so funny :D Obviously not someone to see scary movies, she very loudly expressed her fear :D The whole theater was laughing :D

Well I indulged in some popcorn last night :rolleyes: So I am off to the gym to burn off the damage.
