From a Seattle newspaper:
Saturday night at the Hideaway, Dorkweed, Beloved Binge and Maxus Tale play a benefit for the Northwest Animal Rights Network (8; $8). Billed as "Sex, Carbs and Rock 'n' Roll," the event is part of a budding wave of anti-Atkins diet backlash being launched by animal rights groups. As the only die-hard meat eater I know, my cat says that no one -- not even Dorkweed -- is going to convince her to go vegan.
