it would be nice to have a link which calculates ideal weight ranges according to heights/frame size.

I like it. I found several calculators on the net, but they're quite lacking. Mostly BMI, which has no idea what a frame is, and would classify world-class athletes as obese.

Stay tuned, coming soon to a web page near you. :)

I've got a good table at the back of one of my books. I could type it out if u like Wa'il. That where I got my 57kg. ummm u might not like the kg bit.
Think they had the lb version too but my scales were in kg.
Anyway let me know and I'll find it if it will be helpful.
Take care

Sure Fiona, send them my way.

I plan on having several methods and formulas of calculations so people can see how various methods differ. Much better than saying "Your goal should be this"

Okay Wa'il I will do that.

But my friend Aviva is here now and I have the UK LC Gathering next weekend ... and I promised to alter some school uniforms for a friend before school opens ... and TOM ... and a few other things I won't go into ... but it is in my diary and I will get round to it asap.

Take care.

Now that's a good calculator! I tried the body fat one. I'm always suspecious when they don't ask about hips, wrists and forearms.

I kept brwosing the site, it's related to Covert Baily's book "Fit Or Fat". Very much anti-fat, pro-carbs, but I liked his views on excercise and heart rate.
