Okay I know it says you can have 2 cups of dairy a day, but what about soymilk? Does that count as dairy or not? Also, is there a different amount for vegetarians than people who eat meat when it comes to dairy?
Thanks,

I think dairy is still limited since it is the carbs and lactose to worry about. If you have a low fat/fat free, sugar free soy milk such as soy slender or unsweetened I don't think you have to limit it really.
In the book it is listed along with fat free milk as something to avoid. Fat free milk has been allowed in, and I think when they were talking about soy milk they were refering to the kinds that had sugar, wheat and a ton of other things added. Soy slender is relativly new. In good fats good carbs he doesn't even touch on it, just mentioning soy milkshakes or smoothies.
