Not good enough. Give me a low carb bun, or at least a wrap. I am not paying for them to remove a bun. That is not a new product, that is just cashing in.
Do some work Arbys. :(

A agree, same goes to burger king and their "low carb" menu, at least charge less ifi you arent including the bun, or develop a low carb bun or wrap. Shame on them!

I am strongly suspicious that Arby's Roast Beef has sugar added...

It's worth checking their website for nutritional information...
...chances are that Arby's sauce has sugar.
Here's their site. (http://www.arbysrestaurants.com/nutinfo.html)

I went to Arby's web site and contacted them to ask about their Low Carby menu. Below is the reply I got. Wouldn't you know it's a limited time thing.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
In March, Arby's restaurants have the option to carry "Arby's Low Carbys" menu items. These will be for March only and available only at participating restaurants. The menu of Low Carbys items will be posted at www.arbys.com next week under the "Menu/Nutrition", "LTO" section. The future of the menu items after March has not yet been determined.
Please speak to the manager of your local Arby's about the Arby's Low Carbys options.
Please send further questions to: cbatcheller~arbys.com

Hi all!
Sometimes I cannot believe how I am losing this weight! I am not sure if any of you have tried the new Arby's low carb meal options, but I have tried the Ultimate BLT wrap and it is DELICIOUS!!!! As a matter of fact I just ate one minutes ago and it was heaven...and only 6 grams of carbs! I just wanted to share that info for those of you looking for new FAST options to lose weight on Atkins. Being a part-time teacher, part-time student teacher supervisor and mom of a 2 year-old, sometimes it just isn't realistic for me to spend time shopping and preparing high protein and low carb food. I can handle it for dinner most nights, but for lunch, it's fast food for me.
Yesterday I picked up a low-carb burger from Carl's Junior for my mom, and she LOVED IT! I told her, "Well Mom, this is how I have lost 7 pounds...it's so much fun!" She has tried to watch her carbs with me but she has found it too hard...and I just tell her how EASY it has been for me. I started to get sick of the low carb burger at Carl's having eaten 3-4 of them per week for 3 weeks, so that is how I ended up at Arby's...I was going to throw the bun away off the beef and cheddar sandwich and was surprisingly pleased at the new low carb options I saw on their menu.
Any other yummy fast-food options anyone would like to share?

I had one yesterday at it was wonderful, but while I was eating it I couldn't help but think that it couldn't possibly be very low carb. The wrap is huge and filled with lots of meat.
Today I looked on Arby's website and was confused by their nutrition info. It says that a low carby Turkey, Ranch & Bacon is 6 carbs, but if you scroll down it says that the Turkey, Ranch & Bacon "Wrap" is 18 net carbs! The BLT is 17 net carbs. Here is the link http://www.arbys.com/arb06.html
If you don't get the wrap, do they just put the meat and bacon in a bowl or on a salad?

Carls lc burgers are alot of meat for me. I couldn't eat more than 1 per week. But, I try to avoid eating out at lunch-time. It gets a bit pricey. But if you wanna see overkill, have a Carl's Jr. breakfast bowl. It has sausage, ham, bacon, cheese and eggs.

I tried Subways new "low carb" menu but it wasn't terribly low carb, especially if you are in induction still. Most of the wraps were in the 8-13 carb range. Of course, 5 of that is the wrap so i ended up jusst eating the insides, but it felt like a rip to pay $6.99 for some chicken, lettuce, dreassing and olives.
Have gone to TGIFriday's as well. Better selection, not really low but liveable. Sharing appetizers will help.

Hey MMM Bacon, when I go to Subway, I get the "Sub of the Month" for $2.50. Then, use the meat as a wrap for the fillings and give the bread to the birds. :)

At 13 carbs for the wrap alone, it's steep carbage from Arby's. I won't be eating them or Sonic's wraps because the wrap is so high-carb. There are really low ones in the stores like Mama Lupes that run 4-5 net carbs.
I love Arby's sandwiches, but they need to get back to the drawing board in terms of the actual wrap. We have bought a Giant or Big Montana and just had the beef. They could easily make it worthwhile by going to a truly low carb wrap rather than whatever they appear to be using now. I can't afford 18 grams of carbs on one item. Maybe at maintenance.

I don't think Sonic and Arby's have the point of LC eating. At 17 to 18 carbs per wrap, I could eat a regular tortilla (burrito sized) filled with Bacon. meat, and mayo. Subway's wraps are a lot more reasonable on the carb count. There is also a wrap flatbread you can get at Walmart called Flat Out and they have a Carb Down option that has 4 g per serving/ 8 per 8 X 12 sheet.

YES! They were fabulous and it was a ton of food too. Since I had them I started making my own.

I noticed today on the website, that even with the "low carb wheat bread" that it has 50 carbs in it, (less that protein grams) Does this matter? Even though it only has 18 "net carbs" still seems high to me. I think I'd rather have the Subway wrap with less carbs. Arby's wraps are good, but makes me a bit suspicious with the 50 carbs in it. ALSO, is it really worth the 710 calories? that is high! Especially for a weight loss plan! Unless you are burning it all off at the gym at night.
Any thoughts?

I had one of these wraps. It was the best option at the mall food court. I only ate half of it though to try to not wreck my carbs for the day. I'll eat the other half tomorrow. At least it was pretty big so I didn't feel completely deprived.

Bumping up the thread..LOL.. cause I stopped to Arbys today on the way home from my massage... ( sighs.. very nice one too! )
I ordered the Turkey and bacon wrap.. .
It tasted delicious..but wish I had looked at the website before stopping in.. darn commercial has me cracking up with him holding his new little bikini bathing suit!!
But my warning: it was tasty, nice to have these options..but .. it was 4.19 for ONE wrap.. so w/ the soda..it was nearly 6.50! eek.. plus..when I looked up the nutrition info.. 710 cals for the thing! PHEW.. not low calorie..and VERY VERY high in sodium... so buyer beware!
::: drinking lotsa water to flush the salt out! ::::::::
