I just thought i would give an update on the few days and how it is going go far...

So far...(drum roll please)....5 pounds down...YEA!!! ( my dh is waiting till the end of the week to weigh, but I am dying to know)

in the morning I eat 2 eggs, 4 pieces of little sizzlers brown and serve sausage..(they pack well for work)

lunch is tuna fish, said, or yesterday I had peas (canned had sugar in them--opps!), which was a mistake, I saw this morning...so its green beans today.

string cheese about three..

dinner has been meat and saled...

seems like a lot now that I typed it out...

I was curious, is there anything I am doing wrong that needs to be modified???

this was a typical day...Thanks!!!

nocarbkat,

Sounds like you guys are doing great...keep it up!

Also, if you are on Phase I, watch the peas as they are higher in carbs than most other veg...I treat them more like beans as far as how much and how often I have them.

Yelch. Good thing I hate peas :)

The menu looks good though. I do the string cheese too, just because it's easy to take to work. Today I did celery with laughing cow though and enjoyed it, even though I hate celery.

If your hungry during the day you might have more then just peas at lunch, or is it usually tuna on salad and you just had peas with it?

no its tuna and peas, or tuna and green beans now. although as I typed it it looked like alot of food...man...i got the "good fat, good carbs" guide yesterday and discovered a few more mistakes I was making, thats a good book for following the diet, btw....alot more clear than the real book...i liked that aspect...

thanks for all your help and replies..it is much apprecieated...
