I tried a stuffed burger while on vacation it was so yummy...come to find out my husband has known how to make them forever and never told me LOL

this is a simple recipe...but it can be added upon so easy!!

Prepared hamburger patties work best as they are stuck together better, but you can make your own patties, they just don't always hold together during cooking!!(still taste yummy though

Ingredients
6-8 hamburger patties thawed
spices: I used mrs. dash..could use any :)
onions chopped
shredded cheese: I used cheddar and parmesan
Mayo
Optional toppings: mushrooms, olives...or anything yummy :)

sprinkle spices, and onions on top of all patties. On half of the patties(bottom) put about 1T of mayo in middle, top with cheese and other toppings. place top patties on the bottoms and gently cup in hand and form into bigger pattie. squish edges with fork and gently form pattie together so that topping are in the middle! place in fry pan or grill and cook on one side till done half way up, then flip and cook other side!! and they are done!!! serve w/ SF ketchup or ranch or sf stake sauce...they are so yummy!!

Makes 3 or 4 burgers, I froze the unused ones to use for later :)

also we were thinking of other stuffings, like a pizza one, alfredo one...there is so many things you could stuff in the middle!! and they are so delish

I don't have carb count as it would depend on what you put in the middle!!

well tell me what you think! :)

Another good one, though I don't know if kids woudl like it, is balck olives and feta cheese as the stuffing, with rosemary and oregano as the spices.

I also make a stuffed meat loaf in the same manner. take your favourite low carb meatloaf recipe, put half the meat in the loaf pan, hollow it a bit, add cheese and other stuff (like pizza toppings), place the rest of the meatloaf mixture on top, press to seal it together and bake for an hour or so.

Yum! I'm gonna have to try that. Thanks BB.

Blbm I think I would probably slightly cook mushrooms and onions just to add flavor...:)
