I know this is a crazy and probably simple question but....
Can someone give me the basic recipe for the ricotta creme dessert? I would really appreciate it as I see everyone who has tried it has loved it.
Thanks :D

I tried the Mocha Ricotta Crème I today for a snack, it was really good, I did leave the coffee out of it though, and it needs to be stirred up real good before you eat it  check out the website Elsah posted, I love that site, takes some time to go through it all, but it's a great site.

Here is the main page http://www.mizfrogspad.com/south_beach_diet.htm

It has a kicky little tune that plays also, turn up your speakers

I just bought the book and haven't read it yet (been using the SBD website) so please excuse this potentially silly question: I've only seen reference to ricotta crème as a "sweet treat" - are these things considered legal in the mid afternoon as a snack? Or is it a "your mileage may vary" thing - up to the individual to decided if it is inducing sugar cravings?

I used to eat the ricotta dessert all of the time. If you don't like the grittiness of the ricotta, run it through the food processor first.

I used to mix a whole 15 oz container with a tbsp cocoa, 1/2 tsp almond extract and 3 Splenda packets.
