I'm not usually one to brag, blow my own horn, or pat myself on the back...but...that's EXACTLY what I'm doing right here and right now. As of this morning, I've officially lost 30lbs on the beach...77 days - 30lbs...this is really a day I've been looking forward to...my first major milestone in this weight loss journey...it's been more than 20 years since I weighed 205...what a change...what a difference in my life...

SBD works...you need to tweak it, experiment with it, and adjust it to your body and lifestyle...but...damn right it works...I'm proof.

Ok, I'll now go back into my shell and end this horn blowing rant...

GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:
WHAT A GREAT FEELING THAT MUST BE. I DO NOTICE THAT WITH SB YOU HAVE TO ADJUST IT TO YOUR LIFESTYLE AND BODY TYPE.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Congratulations, again! You are doing so great! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I agree how with any diet you need to tweak it, and work with it :agree: I see that a lot here on the forum with all the diets, people adjust their diets to make it work, after all it has to be a WOL for us.

Thirty lbs. GONE! Congratulations, it must feel terrific! I shared that feeling back in December, but I have "fallen off the truck", so to speak; so now it's time to hop back on! I feel a "second wind" coming, and Spring is a time for new beginnings, right? Now you get to buy some pretty new Spring clothes, I hope! (Pretty soon, you'll be in the "wonderful ONESIE's!")

I started on 09/15 at 192 and went down to 162 by December, but now I'm about 168! I have to renew my resolve, and I plan to keep checking this thread. I think you're on to something here and I'd like to join in. SBD really does work, and I find that working out makes it work MUCH faster. That's part of my new resolve, to do SOMETHING active for at least 30 minutes per day.

Best wishes for your continued success; I'm right there with you, as are many of us!
South Beach WOE: You don't diet, you LIVE it!

Congratulations again, and Enjoy!

Carole,

You're right about the 'wonderful onsies'...I'm hoping 2 to 3 more weeks...to get there will be an amazing thing for me. Also...I think I will get some new clothes, but I don't think pretty ones will go with my beard.

Everyone,

Thanks for all the kind comments and encouragement...as you all know, it means a lot!

Hey, Pstar,

Why not? They go perfectly well with my moustache, LOL! Seriously, though, you are doing so great. It's a joy to read your posts. I have backslid a bit and want to get back down to 30 lbs. gone. You guys help out so much. I plan to keep checking this thread so I can renew my resolve. Have a great week!
