Hi Engine9
I haven't tried Morningstar Farms veggie burgers, but you might want to check the ingredients. I thought I heard somewhere that they contained trans-fats  I am not sure, but you might want to check.
I use the turkey store sausage patties, they are Jennie O brand, they are made out of turkey with sausage seasoning, I think only 2 carbs for a couple of patties :) they taste great, not greassy like the full fat ones, (I don't have the package here in front of me, I am going from memory, I ate the last of them yesterday) but have had them before and they are real satisfying. :)
Here is a link, check them out, we have tried alot of their products, and they are Beach friendly

How do I identify trans fats in the ingredients? And why are we to avoid them?

Anything that says hydrogenated is a trans fat. Morningstar Farms are fine! I eat them too.
