Dear Sir or Madam:

I am a college freshman enrolled in an English 1A online
course at Delta College in Stockton California. We are
currently doing a research paper and my topic is diabetes.
Attached please find a short questionnaire that I hope you can
respond too and Email me back with your response as soon as
possible. Thank you.

Your help on this paper is greatly appreciated. You may keep
your answers short.

Thank you, Steven Mingus Email stevemingus@comcast.net

Diabetes questionnaire

1) What is the usual cause of "acquired" or type 2 diabetes?

2) How does type 1 differ from type 2 as far as cause?

3) Why isn't Insulin available in pill form; also is it
possible in the future?

4) In your opinion what is the greatest predetermining factor
of diabetes
A) Obesity
B) Diet
C) Lifestyle
D) Family history

5) Recently Gastric bypass surgery has been linked to a
possible 80% cure rate of diabetes with patients who
have had the procedure; can you make a brief comment on
this subject?

6) With adult onset, or type 2 diabetes, what age group is
more prone?
A) 20-29
B) 30-39
C) 40-49
D) 50 and above

7) Can someone with type 1or type 2 diabetes cure themselves
with just diet and exercise?

8) Is there an ethnic group associated with a higher incidence
of diabetes? If so, which group and what type?

9) In your opinion can diabetes be curable for everyone
someday?

Again thank you so much for your time and effort in supporting
the learning process.

Then do your own research. The idea is for you to learn how to
get the answers ON YOUR OWN.

Once upon a time, our fellow Steve rambled on about "Student

How about drop dead, slime-bucket!

You will move ahead of your class and sit right next to the
doctor looking for a book on nutrition. :(

Ha, ... Hah, Ha!
