Ingredients:
1 cup tomato sauce
3 tablespoons sugar substitute
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon onion flakes
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 lb lean ground beef


Preheat overn to 350, Spray loaf pan with nonstick spray or line with foil.

Mix 1/3 cup tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons sugar substitute, 1 teaspoon chili powder, onion flakes, parsley flakes, and salt in large mixing bowl. Add hamburger meat and stir well. Shape into loaf pan.


Mix remaining tomato sauce, chili powder, and sugar substitue together in bowl. Spread over top of meat loaf.

Bake 1 hour.



I'm not sure about the carb count. I do not know where to go to figure them out.

This sounds really good. I was looking for a meatloaf recipe for tonight and I think I'll try this. Is sounds terrific...

I tried the meatloaf recipe and it was really tasty. Just a thought--next time I will add an egg for flavour and try salsa instead of tomatoe sauce. Good!

After putting the recipe in my Mastercooks, it comes out to 40 carbs and 5 grams of fiber for the whole recipe. I'll bet if "no sugar added" tomato sauce is used (Unfortuately, I can never find it.), it would be even lower.

That sounds really good. But isn't it supposed to have some kind of breadcrumb substitute in it? (like pork rinds or something)
