OK, this is really weird... I put a big boneless pork roast in the crock pot, poured on a bottle of Walden Farms Honey BBQ sauce. When my husband got home he shredded the pork and said it looked and smelled really yummy. So, when I got home from work I took the lid off and the pork was green! Really strange. It wasn't green when he shredded it. We tasted it and it tasted alright, but I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Just thought I should share this as a little warning.

Hmmm...I've used it on burgers and it didn't change colors. But I only poured it on and ate it, rather than letting it simmer as you must have.

You're right though...green aint good when it comes to pulled pork!

I have learned that with Walden farms sauces you have to add at the last minute, or they can get goopy. You cannot cook with them as it claims, lol. If I HAVE to use it I put it on after it has cooked..One time I warmed some chicken in the micro with a lil Walden Farms barbq sauce and it turned a greyish purple, EWWWWWWWWWW. Lets just say I lost my appetite real quick.

I simmered it on the stove with cocktail weinies and it started to smoke so I took it off the burner. Tasted a little weird after heating it.
