This isn't about a particular product, but a general question about products changed to be low carb. A low carber friend of mine was getting skin patches and her blood lipid profile was not normal (don't know exactly how). Her doctor said he thought she needed to eat less soy. She did and all went to normal! Her doc said that this may be an upcoming problem with low carbers eating so many products with soy in it. I haven't had any problems, in fact I've never been healthier. But then I did start to notice just how many foods I don't associate with soy that really have soy in them, like my muffins and pasta. I was going to try some tortilla chips (soy) just today in fact. Has anyone had a problem with soy-containing foods? Other than my tofu now and then, I was pretty dense about not noticing soy in other foods. Any one had an experience like hers? She could have gotten well just by coincidence.

Wow, this forum is truly great! I just stumbled on a post under "Neanderthin" support, by Hellistile, that has links to sites that talk about the potential negatives of soy. I am going to read them. You may want to too if you eat a lot of chips and baked stuff, etc made with soy. I am hoping there will be a list of signs if you are eating too much of it.
