My blood sugar levels were kinda high yesterday and a bit higher than normal this morning.
Yesterday evening I tested and it was 102 and then this morning fasting I tested and it was 89.
I have been testing once every few days or even a few times a day for a few months now and its always ranged from 75-86 fasting or not.
Should I be concerned that it hit 102 and that its 89 fasting in the morning?
The only new thing I added to eat yesterday was raspberries, could that be what caused the rise?

Well...it could be the raspberries, but it could also be a lot of other things as well such as hormone fluctuations (I always run about 10 points higher just before and the first few days of TOM), stress, an impending infection (coming down with a cold or something), etc...
Try going without the berries for a few days and see if it returns to your normal readings. If it goes back down, try adding the berries back in again and see if it goes up again. If it does, then you've probably got your answer. If it doesn't then it probably wasn't the berries and had some other cause.
There are times your blood sugar will run higher and you can't pinpoint the cause of it. A reading of 102, while certainly higher than you've been running, is not a cause for panic; rather a cause to go "hmm...I wonder what's up with this?".

TOM does make sense... I am expected to get it in a few days. It might be that. At least I am hoping for that to be the case.
Thanks, that made me feel better.

I know that my blood sugar readings definetely are affected by where I am in the month. Hormones do affect blood sugar!
