I just found out I am "moving" to 3rd shift. I did this before DX w/TII diabetes. I know I was not on any real schedule for sleep, eating, or anything. I am awake more when on 3rds. How am I going to figure out how to take my metformin and eat correctly in this situation. It may sound easy, but it really isn't. If anybody does 3rds, can you lend some help there, please? I appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks so much,

I would think you would do things as normal but instead of when the sun comes up start your timing when you get up.

I pretty much have the same problem as I have to get up on work days at 1:30 am to go to work and drive to AL and in AL I have to get up at 11:30 pm to drive back to TX. To make matters even more confusing on my days off I am on a regular persons schedule (ie up at anywhere from 6-8 am and bed between 10-12

So in my lifes schedule I just time things from when I get up for the day even if it is night.

Hope that helps.
