I'm about to switch to phase2 of SBD but am afraid of slowing down my weight loss. Are there others out there who have stayed in Phase 1 longer than the two weeks recommended? How has switching to Phase 2 slowed your weight loss?

I'm one week into Phase II...I'm still mostly eating as if in Phase I. I seem to be doing well on the weight loss...I feel great...the Phase I foods don't bother me...and...I kind of use Phase II add ins as break from the Phase I routine.

I stayed on Phase 1 for a month. In the first month I lost 28 pounds!

Remember what Dr. Agatston said about "the Safety of Phase 1"?

If you aren't comfortable with all the P2 foods, ease into it slowly.

Since entering P2, my losses have been cut to 1-1/2 pounds per week (average)...

But keep in mind that I could never have kept losing a pound a day, no matter what I ate. It would be physically impossible.

Natural slowdowns occur, the more you lose.
