This has been a long cold winter for most of us. (except for our cali/florida/arizona/hawaii friends *&/#?!~#%^*!!!)

If you don't have a treadmill what do you do for excersize in the middle of winter?

Dr. Agatston suggests 20 minutes per day.

Here's my program:

1. Play basketball 2 nights a week. (1 hour)
2. Detail cars in my garage 2 times a week (usually 2-4 hours work)
3. Force myself to vacuum and clean house once per week (2 hours)

Those last 2 seem rather ordinary, but the important thing is to get your heart rate up for 20 minutes.

EDIT: For those who may not know, car detailing involves washing, waxing, cleaning interior, vac, steam clean carpets, clean engine, tires, wheelwells, make it look like a new car!

Bill, even though right now I DO live here in Hawaii :)

I took my family to Kona for Christmas just a little over a month ago!

Oh my gosh!!!!! It's like Paradise!!!

My oldest son lives in Kona and works at Bubba Gump Shrimp. He's the manager of the resturaunt.

I really appreciated the weather, the beach , and the entire Hawaiian life-style when we got back to KC! It was about 28 degrees and snowing!

It usually gets real nice here in Kansas City around April 1. Looking foreward to spending lots of time outside! I've got a great start on the "New Me"...!!!

Later.......
