HI EVERYONE,

I have been doing Atkins for only 5 days now, and I am so sick of eggs!!!

Does any one have any suggestions for breakfast on induction?

I would appreciate any replies, and any one who could share some advice on keeping focused on these first 2 weeks.

Thank you in advance.

Remember, breakfast doesn't always have to be eggs.
How about some ham and cheese roll-ups, or some meat leftover from dinner last night?
Or try changing the taste of your eggs by adding a little cream cheese, or other seasonings, as you scramble them? Also, having hard-boiled or deviled egs makes a nice change too.
As for me, I can eat bacon and eggs every morning, after so many years of being told they are "bad" for me!

Hi There
Check out the recipe posts. There are all kinds of things to eat for breakfast and interesting ways to use eggs so that they aren't so boring. Don't wrinkle your nose at some of them until you try them either. The pancakes made from crushed pork skins are really good with the lc syrup.
Good Luck,
Lois

There is a hot cereal from a company called carb sense. On the outside of the box it says in big letters "HOT CEREAL". With a couple of packets of splenda, it's pretty good. It's got 15g of carbs but 12g of it is fiber (and that's ok). You may not want to use it during induction, but after that, 3g (net) is pretty good.

I would avoid the bars/cereals during induction. Try sausage links dipped in mustard or SF syrup. You can buy pre-cooked Jimmy Dean links at Food Lion and Wal-Mart super centers. They take a few minutes in the microwave and taste super fresh! Cut up LC fruit in small amounts is good also. Cream cheese any way you can eat it also fills you up good for breakfast. A lot of times I'll roll up ham with cream cheese. Also the suggestion about the LC pancakes in the forum...they're GREAT.
