Here is the FAQ an recommendations on artificial sweeteners at atkins.com:

Atkins *recommend* Splenda/sucralose, but they don't ban other sweeteners (well except for their recommendation against aspartame for other health reasons, not weight loss related.)
I never used Splenda as it isn't available over here. I use saccharine/cyclamate instead. When I use any sweetener at all (not often.)

also, for most of us, Splenda just tastes better!
However, when I'm out, I'll use sweet-n-low in my coffee instead of equal.

I use NatraTaste ...a friend told me it was okay for Atkins? It says the ingredients are dextrose with Maltodextrin, Aspartame.
Is this bad?

Dextrose is not the best thing because it's a fast acting sugar. Have a look at the links to the Atkins website that gilibel provided.
And, there's more information about it here:

Aspartame is BAD BAD BAD.....Splenda is delicious, you can't even tell it's not "sugar" so to speak. You can use equal, but I would strongly recommend splenda. I have it in packet form that I carry in my purse for when I go out to eat, and in a box form for at home. Splenda is the best!
