Hi i have been doing atkins for 4 months now, and no matter what i do i can not get passed 180 pounds. so far i have lost 22 pounds about, but I have hit a wall. so i am Plan shopping.
What is themain differences between atkins and South beach?
I know you can fruit which is a big plus since i miss it so much, and my DH really missed his glass of milk at night. would these be allowed?
any help would be great thanks!

skim milk is allowed in phase one, as is yogurt (plain only), plus some beans i.e. butter, kidney, black, lentils, chickpeas.
fruit gets added in phase 2

For milk, real milk that is, your prayers have been answered.
I was a milk junky before the diet. I still don't over do it..but here ya go! My local Wal-mart is carrying this now.
