I agree with everyone. Keep a journal for a couple of days of everything you put in your mouth. There are lots of carbs out there that people forget to count. Ketchup, carrots on salad. Most salad dressings contain 4 to 5 grams of carbs per serving. Many "sugarfree" cookies and candies contain almost as many carbs as the reqular cookies and candies. Make sure you read the labels very carefully (especially serving size) for everything you eat. Its best to prepare your own foods at home in the beginning while you are still learning. For me, cheese will cause me to stall while others eat it without any problems. I also have to limit my consumption of cured meats like bacon and processed meats like sausage. I still have both occasionally but not more than 1 serving (2 slices bacon or 1 patty) a day. You will have to discover for yourself what kinds of protein cause you to stall.
