I am sorry if this was posted already.
I just got back from Krogers and they have a new line of products called CarbOptions. They have Ragu spaghetti sauce sweetened with splenda($3.19, that's the one I bought), Skippy Peanut butter with splenda, they also had cheese sauce and some other sauces . Each jar had a low carb recipe on it. The list of them is at their website.

This is a list of the acceptable foods. You should probably reread that section of the book . There is a certain order in which to add back foods, like peanut butter.

I forgot to say. They had a stand set up with all these products on it . In my store it was between the produce and the meat in the deli/bakery section. They want eveyone to see it so they will probably do it like that in all the stores.

Bonolover,
I tried to pm you but couldn't, either because you don't have enough posts or because you don't have a journal.
Stop by my journal and we can talk there.

I bought them all yesterday. The lipton lemon iced tea with splenda was yummy. As was the Spread. It was much like miricle whip. I cant wait to make some stuff out of that!!!!

I used the spaghetti sauce on my spaghetti squash and it was a little acidy to me. I liked it better when I made up my own sauce. Maybe it is better on low carb noodles.

I just tried the cheddar sauce and it was yummy too. Had broccoli with cheese sauce finally- I kept being tempted to buy Cheez Whiz and it just wasn't worth it. I bought the Alfredo too- I hope it doesn't taste like feet.

Well I used the hickory bb sauce tonight!!!!! Oh my god it was so yummy!!!! I sauted some sliced chicken breast with onion (enough for 4) , added 3 tbl bb sauce, and 4 oz shredded mozz cheese till melted. Served rolled up in a burrito sized low carb tortilla.
I used the sand spread to make a salad dressing my mother in law always made for my wife and she was missing so much. Her mom used miricle whip t sugar, milk. I made it with the sandwich spread, the low carb milk from hood, and liquid splenda. I had to add a few drops of lemom juice and a few drops of vinager to make it taste like she remembered. Then you put it on the lettuce and put in fridge about at least a 1/2 hour before serving it. She loved it!!!!!

The PB and the cheese sauce are sooooooo very good. I wanted to try the BBQ sauce so I am glad someone else tried it. I think it is great that there are finally GOOD affordable LC products out there. :)

I tried the spaghetti sauce and it was quite good and I also got a bottle of the BBQ sauce (glad to hear that it's good) to make ribs with on Saturday.
Watch the labels, though. I went to the website and checked the ingredients on the creamy peanut spread...yup...hydrogenated oils in it. :p
