I caught the last part of an ad for Sara Lee bread , which was giving information about the net carbs in each slice. Next they'll say their cheesecake is low carb too!

I'm pretty happy with my Nature's Own bread, which is low-carb. But if Sara Lee DID start making low-carb cheesecake, I'd be all over that...

The Sarah Lee bread is 9g carb per slice. You can get iron kids wheat for that :P
I've also seen 6 and 3g breads. I guess just find one you can live with the carb amount and tastes decent.

Earthgrains 35 is the best and cheapest I have found around my area. it has 7 carbs per slice and taste like real bread, where as I think the Natures own has kind of a funky taste.

Arnold's is really good, and only 6 grams. My husband likes it very much.

My husband likes Arnold's too. Says it tastes like real bread. :) I noticed the Sara Lee in WalMart last weekend. Seems like all of the bread companies are jumping on the LC bandwagon.

I bought the Sara Lee wheat for my dh. It was $2.59. He says it's pretty good. He is trying to eat low carb, doesn't need weight loss ,just doesnt want to become diabetic like his dad. I know he would never go for my 3 gm natures oven bread.

If I eat bread which is rare I use Nature's Own reduced carb premium wheat bread with just 5 net gms/slice. It tastes great to me.
