I wonder when they find that nuts in the diet are healthy by
ffq they probably actually mean the legumes including peanut
butter and peanuts more than they do almonds.++what gives,
anyway its probably the pufa and maybe magnesium..

No they don't. They especially mean almonds, walnuts, pecans,
etc.. It's not only magnesium and PUFA (of which
alpha-linolenic acid in walnuts for example could be
important), but possibly also MUFA (in almonds for example),
amino acid arginine, and antioxidative phenolic compounds
found for example in almonds and walnuts.
