Hi I am a new member and it has been a pleasure reading some of the things people say. Can anyone help me on what supplements to use to deter constipation especially in the induction stage. Also having a hard time finding low carb food in my Krogers. Are all Kroger's different. Does anyone know where there is a health food store that has a lot of Atkins diet food. I am in the suburbs of Detroit. Thanks for your answers.

Hi Skater, welcome!
For your questions about local info, how about checking the US forum? ;) Personally I use no "diet" food. In fact you'll find the most successful losers are those who mostly eat fresh foods, such as vegies, meat, fish, cheese etc - all available from your supermarket.
For constipation, psyllium husks are the answer. You can either use the husks or buy them in capsules. Dr Atkins recommends 1 tablespoons of the husks in a glass of water. It doesn't taste the best, but is better if you add a squeeze of lemon juice.
Do make sure you are drinking planty of water. And keep up those vegies. Fibre is the best thing to prevent constipation. http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0903/aktion/action-smiley-082.gif
Cheers.
