I lost 101 pounds!

I lost 101 pounds and I've gotten my life back!

Seventeen months ago, when I started low carbing, my feet and back hurt when I walked to the corner and when I went shopping with my daughter I had to sit down while she walked around the mall by herself. Now, I can keep up with my family everywhere and last August I even climbed a small mountain. My blood pressure has gone from elevated to normal and my cholesterol (as of last spring) had gone from 214 to 199 with an increase in HDL and a decrease in LDL. My fasting blood sugar is 80 and my triglycerides are 52. Instead of being scared that I am going to die, I am enjoying living!

Thank you to everyone who has provided, support, encouragement, and helpful hints to me along the way. I still have a long way to go, so I will be around here for quite a while yet!
