Rob, thanks for not mentioning the ***word.
OK, the Wicked Woosh Fairy of the West (the good woosh fairy's sister) paid a visit this morning and deposited back the same d$%m pound I've been losing all last week right back on the scale. (This is partly because I found I cannot eat over 1500 cals two days in a row and also because I was taking anti-inflamm meds. I also didn't workout yesterday. But I prefer to blame it on an imaginary ethereal presence who cannot be here to defend herself)
How's everyone else doing? PatchLady, sounds like you had a good time at your show.

Good morning Rob,Elaine, and everyone else!! :)
Elaine, it is prob. water retention from the anti's, I would not worry, But it IS disconcerting when it reads more! :agree: Atleast you are brave enough to step on, Since I had that shot the other day I chickened out, BUT Tuesday I am going to force myself to creep on! I have managed to keep my cals consistant and have exercised every day, so I hope that I did not do to much damage Friday. I just love the creamy taste of Baileys! I just stocked up on more yogurt and cottage cheese so... So how was the drive to work today? have they cleared things off now??? Today is supposed to be a decent one here (40*), Yesterday it got to 58*!!!! :sunny: but was to muddy to go out so back on the old treadmill!
Patchlady, Glad that the show went off without a hitch! What kind of dancing do you do? Even though the video was not good quality, i can imagine how much your DD enjoyed running it! :) :)
Orang, well do you have to report in today? what have you heard??
BW, Did you get the decorations all done?? I was going to.... but the unmotivational side took over! I did the laundry and worked out instead!
I best get going, we have to get on our 4 wheelers and move our young cows back home, (we start feeding corn to them now)!
Have a Good day for a M day!

Hello!!
Well, the good news is that I think I did fairly well last nite at our Christmas Party. It was at a fancy italian restaurant here. I ate some mozza cheese on tomato slices, a piece of foccacia bread, a filet mignon steak (YUMMM!!), a salad, a few bites or some chocolate mousse/grand marnier dessert, plus umm about 4 glasses of red wine. Yea, I got a lil tipsy  Maybe a tad overloaded on the carbs, but it could have been much worse!! I did not eat the pasta they put on the plate with the steak. Very good overall though.
Well, off to work.....oh joy!
Have a great day all!

Hi Lissette!
The roads are ok, a little icy early when the previous day's melt freezes up overnight but no major problems. It's still cold here, it's supposed to be 50 and raining by the end of the week and then clear and cold again. I am making offerings to the Omnipotent God of Natural Gas this week.
So you ride around on 4 wheelers to feed the cows? Head 'em up, move 'em out!
Hi Robin, sounds like you did ok-good for you!
Where is the rest of our motley crew? (no Orang, do NOT make a picture of the Pals dressed up as a rock band. This weekend was tough enough LOL)

Hi everyone, sorry I have been MIA for a few days. Had a way too busy weekend and DH would NOT get off the computer long enough to let me do anything  The darn Football computer game, he is worse than a kid! I stayed very legal this weekend, didn't even have my CAD meal. Did finally tweak my PB cookie recipe and I must say, I did good!! Here it is:
They could have been a bit sweeter but the texture and flavor were really good. You could sub diabasweet or sugar alcohol for the splenda. I didn't because I didn't want a cookie that would keep me in the bathroom I used WPI but if you don't have any you could use all almond flour and I am sure it would be fine.
Ellie's Classic Peanut Butter Cookies
1 cup Almond Flour
1/2 cup WPI (Wheat Protein Isolate)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup (stick) butter softened
1 cup SF peanut butter ( I used 50/50 brand)
1 1/2 cups pourable splenda (I used 1 cup pourable, 1 tsp liquid)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3-4 TBS splenda to dip fork in
Preheat oven to 350, line cookie sheet w/parchment paper if you have it. In a small bowl combine dry ingredients, first 5 listed, and then set aside. Cream butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add splenda, mix well, then add eggs and vanilla until well blended. Add dry ingredients, dough should be fairly stiff. If it seems crumbly it is ok. Place dough in fridge for about 20 minutes. Roll teaspoon of dough into a 1 inch ball, place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Dip fork into splenda and push into the ball of dough forming a criss cross pattern. Bake for 11-13 minutes until outer edges are slightly brown. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
This recipe made about 2 dozen fairly large size cookies!
Rob - I bought some Keto elbow macaroni yesterday to add to my Chili. I made the mistake of eating one plain to see if it was done, YUK :Puke: BUT, then I added some to my chili and it was truly AWESOME!! Chili Mac, never thought I would have it again. Thanks for that wonderful tip :)
Elaine - Don't worry, it is just your meds. I think you are doing a great job of sticking with this. This is just a temporary set back :)
Lissette - Enjoy that sunny weather while you can :) It has been pretty nice here as a well, but that is normal for here.
Robin - You did ok! Good job!
 to everyone else, have got to get back to work before the boss catches me :bash:

Elaine, that's amazing! I was wondering if there was a book written about different routines. I might just order it. What I'd really like, though, is a video that shows someone doing a whole routine (or maybe several 20-minute routines) that you can do alongside. Not THAT would be helpful.
Only have a sec. Hi to everyone!

Guess a way has been found to keep me out of photoshop -- I'm actually on a jury - a murder trial. You guys probably aren't going to hear much from me this week. I'm so tired I can hardly hold my head up -- I'm going to bed.

Just stopped by real quick...sorry didn't have time to read very post...just skimmed a few.
Some one asked what type of dance I do, My first love is Tap, I mostly do tap numbers in the shows. But usually have at least one or two jazz numbers, and a ballet lyrical.
For the christmas show, I did three tap numbers, one lyrical ballet, and the Wooden Solider dance...like the Rockettes at Radio City Music Center. That is one of my favorite dances in the Christmas show. This year we got awesome new costumes. Bright red solider pants, tall red hats, and cool white leotards. Everyone loves the wooden solider dance.
Now that christmas is over, on to the next preformance. During the winter, we preform a half time show at the local college basketball games. Kinda of weird that I am in my 30's preforming at college, while when I was in college, no way would I even think about doing something like that.
Sorry to ramble on..
