As I'm Type II diabetic, my doc has been pushing me to go to his foot-care clinic. I finally did and Nurse Darlene massaged my feet and toes including one toe that has had absolutely no feeling for several months.

After the session, the toe began to tingle and burn for a while and now seems to have its sensation back!

If Darlene can do this to two more toes, we may be able to get her canonized!

Aside from a miracle, anybody have any theories?

Who needs a theory...just count your blessings! (One more thing to be thankful for on Thanksgiving!) :)

Low carbing is reversing the diabetic neuropathy and the massage increased circulation enough for you to notice it more? My 02.5 cents worth... :)

Maybe I should look into a foot care clinic - my BGs are well under control but my toes are still numb. Thanks for the info!
