Hello to you all.
After I came back from my fantstic holiday in gran canaries I had stoped low carbing and felt like I was falling into my old ways. Decided I would do weight watchers, but somehow never got around to it. I had loads of stick from my hubby and four sons when I was amitted to hospital with tummie pains in september. Never really got to the bottom of it (excuse the pun), but I found out now the doctor told my husband to get me off that silly diet!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sat down to watch the channel four program last night and realised how much i missed low carbing and being in control. Then bugger me out of the blue my husband said ' you know that sound like it might work for me, might give it a try',
It was very hard not to go over and kick him but I just said,' yes dear ,lets do it togeather'. So here I am back again and of cause it was ALL HIS IDEA!!!!!! Would'nt be suprised if Dr Atkins did'nt steal the idea fro HIM!!!!!!!!!!
Stood looking at the scales for ages before I got on them and have only put on 4 pounds but feel much fatter can't wait to start.

Hi Fiona

Good to have you back. Jump on the wagon and get those 4 pounds and some more gone.

I thought the Channel 4 programme was pretty good. Make sure you eat your veggies though. They still seem to think that this is not an important part of this way of life. No wonder it gets a bad name.

Yeah, welcome back. I'm going away soon and am quite apprehensive about what to do foodwise, but am taking some stuff with me so hopefully will stay on the wagon or hang off only slightly!

Hello, I am a lapsed returner too. Went down to 154 lbs, then went down to Florence, then went down the pan - so here I am at 160lbs again.

I blame the stress - been busy interviewing and now have a job - which means that after 11 years of running around the world, me, hubby and the dogs are coming home - the stress is how to sell the French place, how to afford a UK place, how to get the passports for the dogs (nearly finished - but god - what a palaver) etc etc.

I aim to leave a stone in France!

hi guys and good return - hope things go well for you, I think we all understand the struggle this OWL can be - not only because the stores don't stock as much low-carb convienance food... but we can do it as long as we stay prepared

Hi, Fiona, and Liz too!
Getting back on the wagon after my holiday has been easier than first time around, but the weight is a little slow in departing.
Never mind.
We can all do this!
