the score sheet doesn't really tell you the relative effects
of hdl and ldl as the values aren't standardized, but it
doesn't really matter as the score is not a hard rule that you
apply to all populations (eg., dieters over time).++This new
study shows us what we already new - that a low carb diet
doesn't necessarily mean fewer calories *especially* over
time.++The atkins diet did better in LDL than expected - note
that researchers and subjects alike are moving toward a low
SFA atkins diet - the new southbeach diet recommends a willett
like diet that is low in SFA and carbs..++emphasis on calories
is also growing with realization that caloories is the MOST
important part of the atkins diet.
