I finally found Michelob Ultra in my local Tescos today. What a rip-off :( No way was I willing to pay £9.99 for 10 x 250 ml bottles, even with the tempting figure of 2.5g carb a bottle. Having done some hasty arithmetic, I decided it was a complete swizz :bash:

Instead, I bought four cans of Tesco Value lager for under £2  Each can contains 440 ml lager at a "cost" of 5.1g carb per can. Much better value for money per carb, IMHO ;)

Hi Sylvia, got some Michelob Ultra for DH on his B'day on saturday and he really loved it! I did think it was a bit of a rib-off but I thought as it was his b'day just close my eyes......! He was really impressed with it and I for a second I wondered if I'd done the right thing, but only for a second. He's not a huge beer drinker so I'm not really worried. Hope you enjoyed your lager!

I quite enjoy an odd Michelob Ultra in the house. The 250ml bottle is usually enough for me to drink at home anyway. Tesco were also selling 4 packs of Michelob Ultra for 3.19. I ended up buying 3 of them rather than the 10 pack. Even at a quid a bottle, it's still cheaper than buying it at the pub where it's nearly 2 quid a bottle

For a change you could try Marston's " Low C " as an alternative, its a 275ml bottle with only 1.65g carbs.
l first tried it in my local pub, but at 1.60 a bottle didn't drink many.
Since then l've found it in my corner store ( 95p) and in Morrisons ( 89p ).

Good news Morrisons now have it on offer till Jan at 2 bottles for a quid.

Cheers Steve, will find out if Tesco and Sainsburys have it!
