:yay: I lost 15lbs my first wk. I'm into my fourth wk and the scale goes up and down but no true loss. But all in all I feel great and I have a lot of faith and ask for your prayers. I have not cheated and have no cravings, which is the best part for me. The cravings would be so insatiable and I couldn't get the monkey off my back. It feels so good to be able to walk through the candy isle in the store and not scan the shelves feeling like people are watching the fat girl. I'm pressing on.

Keep at it, you are doing great. Getting rid of the cravings is really empowering.

Hi there! Have you taken your measurements? One of my daughters was pretty bummed (see the latest entry in my journal) that her weight hadn't moved but a half-pound in the last couple of weeks. I took her measurements today, then used the Zone's body fat calculator. That gave her real encouragement because come to find out, she'd actually lost about 4.5 pounds of fat, but her lean body mass had increased by four pounds, thus 1/2 pound lost scale-wise! :)

I can see myself shrinking. It's a big difference. Where can I find the Zone's body fat calculator?

15 lbs in your first week....Wow! :dazzle: That's terrific. You'll start losing again as your body catches up with the loss.......and isn't it wonderful that you no longer crave all those sweets and breads!
Stick with it, you're gonna be a big loser!!!!
