Hi all,
Today has got to be one of the worst days of my life. I have never liked myself and I am always critical of everything I do like nothing I do is ever good enough. I have a hard time letting people see my true colors because I when I do, I get rejected. I lost a friend who was very dear to me due to my own stupidity. We had an argument and she got so annoyed with me that she said goodbye and abruptly ended our friendship. It is so hard knowing I won't be hearing from her anymore. She was very special to me, sweet and caring but once again I blew it. I just want to crawl under a rock and die. :help:

I'm so sorry. I really don't know what to say. I don't know the situation or what was said. Is it really something that can't be worked through. If you are really good friends, I can't believe that she would end it over something trivial. Like I said, I don't know what happend. I don't know that it was trivial and not incredibly meaningful to her. Maybe she just needs some time to cool off. Maybe flowers would be a good start. Maybe you just need to tell her you were wrong, but you have to mean it!
Good Luck!

I am sorry to hear that. Ive been going through something similar. The best you can do is apologize or do something super nice to try and get her back. Tell her how you feel...let her know what she means to you. Hang in there!

Jerzee, you know one thing I have learned ESPECIALLY WITH FRIENDS. True friends accept you with no questions and your faults. So,maybe you can work things out with her.I've done some stupid things too with my friends male and fmale, but it always works out once you talk.

Being able to express yourself doesn't come easy for a lot of us. We suffer in silence, alone with this problem. I have spent years trying to learn to open up to people, and to tell you the truth I just don't want to, but found I have to. I too have lost friends due to this "problem", but as you hear in an earlier reply, maybe they really weren't that good of friend. Perhaps you held onto the friendship because she seemed to accepted you as you were. Maybe now she needs something from you that is very difficult for you to provide.
Since you are the only one who knows the details, look hard at what happened and weigh it against the pain it will cause you to open up and appologize for it being difficult to open up. I know it will be hard, but once in a while, we have to take that chance.
Keep you head up no matter what. You need to respect yourself and any shortcomings you may have, others do not. (but it sure is nice if they do!)

I really appreciate all the support you all have shown me. You folks put a smile back on my face :) She is a wonderful woman and I probably did not deserve a second chance but I am happy to say that we are at least talking again. We may never again connect like we had before, but at least I know I am worth a second chance.
I hope you all have a great weekend! TGIF! :yay:

Things will get better. Since you are from Jersey, my idea for you is listen to some music from The Boss!! Bruce has always helped me to feel better just by hearing his music. So if you are a fan I'd say turn up the cd's and feel the power. But also I'd say hang in there, and have hope. :agree: :agree:
