Hi,
My husband and I have both been on low carb woe for about a month. He has lost about 20 lbs and we have both done rather well. However, in the last 5 days he has had some dizziness and after getting out of our hot tub the other night completely blacked out. I checked his B/P and it was normal (124/68). I know that sometimes hot tubs can affect the blood pressure so I really thought it was that at first.
Since the hot tub incident however, he has had about three more episodes during his regular daily routine at work. Once his secretary gave him some "Cheese Its" and it made him feel a lot better and then last night I gave his some peanuts and it perked him right up.
So I am suspecting it is more of a blood sugar situation that we are dealing with. I havent been able to convince him to see a doctor but thought if you guys can give me some information and advice maybe I can convince him that he really has a problem that he need to see the doctor about it.
Thanks for any insight or advice you can give me.
