Hi,

I've been using LC WOEs since January,2003. I started on Atkins, but didn't do well - got sick and didn't lose weight. I started doing a lower fat version of Atkins with 35 gms of carbs and lost well, but felt awful. This lead me to adopt Protein Power in May of this year. I feel great and am losing, a bit slower than before but steadily.

Hi, I've been on the Active Low Carbers board before but have been recently marrying PP to WW points after a long struggle of finding a WOE for myself and establishing my protein and carb levels, but needing to rein in the calories. I know it sounds nuts (always a good LC snack, haha) but it seems to be working. I lost 3.5 to date and hoping to lose more. I am hypothyroid and also take HRT, so I am a bit challenged.
