Okay, I am not very overweight (in fact mostly I just want to get rid of some flab and be healthy). Any glucose sugar type test I have ever had is always normal. My blood pressure is low. My cholesterol is excellent.

But when I eat sugar, most of the time I feel wretched. It use to be just when I ate candy or lots of bread.

But now, since I have been on the Paleo diet I have started feeling dizzy, nauseous, headachy, & shakey after eating one apple or raisins.

It doesn't happen with bananas (which I thought were more carby than apples).

What is going on? Do I have to give up fruit now?

If I stop eaitng fruit for a while will my system right itself and then I will be able to eat it again?

Just wondering.

Edited to add: Last year I tried to go Low Carb with Protein Power and had Heart Palpitations for a week from low blood sugar (even went to the emergency room). That was because I cut out most fruit. Since then I read up on the Paleo diet, really like the philosophy, and wanted to make sure I had enough fruit to avoid the low blood sugar fiasco again.
