I have been low carbing for a month and am really discouraged! I have only lost 2 lbs! I am in ketosis alot and have seen some inches go but I was really hoping I would be further along by now...I am ready to eat only Dr. Atkins bars and shakes to get this going! Please help

Eating only Atkins bars and shakes will not help. In fact it can stall you even longer. Losing inches is a very good thing! What is mostlikely happening is your body is repairing all your mussels with that nice fat and protien. That is why you are not seeing the scale move. Also the less you have to lose the slower it goes. What is important is that this is a plan that you can stick with for life. So if it comes off slowly, that is ok, it will stay off longer that way.

If you want post what you normally eat, and someone may be able to see what is stalling you on the scale.

Thanks for the reply...I normally eat an Atkins bar for breakfast and a ceasar salad for lunch with a chicken breast and a steak with salad and a cup of cooked veggies in lots of butter..I havent eaten any bread but would love to if I am allowed to to bring my carbs up

I would suggest knocking out the atkins bar for breakfest for a week or two and see what happens. Some people do find they stall with them. If the scale starts moving then you no to go easy on them.

My weight won't budge unless I'm exercising.
