Hi! I made the mistake of having a blow out... but its lasted 3 days. So now I am well and truly out of ketosis, do I go back onto induction? I am not happy with using induction as a crutch but I need to get back into keto so I guess induction is required. Any suggestions? Like if I go back on induction, how long should I do it for, eg 2 weeks? Also has anyone done this before and if so please share with me!! I feel so isolated because noone I know is lcing (or ever has) so please share any stories with me, inspirational or mistakes you've learned from!! :wiggle:
Thanks!

hi kali,
first take a deep breath and let the worries out!! that's it. second, you can go back to induction if you want to. it takes roughly 36 hours to get back into ketosis, so maybe just do induction until you test positive for ketones on the stix. or just eat clean as usual. don't beat yourself up over blowing out, but use it as a lesson not to do it again if you can help it. i've done it myself, we're human after all, but i don't guilt myself out over it. just pick up and get on the low carb wagon and remind myself next time i am tempted to eat something i shouldn't that high carbs make me feel like crap. you can do it!

another great hint is this, i forgot it yesterday. to get yourself back into ketosis even quicker is to go and do some weights. exercise will use up all the glucose in your muscles and put you back into fat burning mode quickly. so while this isn't an excuse to carb blow out and then hit the gym, it is handy to know.
