This is my very first day of low-carbing. My brother is an advocate so I thought I would give it a try. Jenny Craig just isn't doing me any favors! I was in the 115 range and then 2 beautiful daughters later...I'm fighting to get under 130. 125# is my ideal since I'm 32 now and not 20 anymore. I work out 4-5 days a week w/kickboxing, cardio and weights. The high-protein is my ideal menu anyway so this seems too good to be true. I've had many people tell me how bad this is but since I found the support of this forum - I'd ready to give it at least a 2 week try.:D

welcome wannabthin!!:D your exercise program sounds terrific! exercise is one of the single best things that you can do for overall good health! don't be frightened by the nay-sayers! more and more, mainstream is coming around to our way of thinking! they can't deny the improved blood levels of people on the lowcarb programs, nevermind the weight loss. it's a really healthy diet. just don't swallow that lowfat myth anymore. refined carbs like flour and sugar and polyunsaturated fats and hydrogenated fats are poison! stick to low carb with us and lose weight and feel GRRRREAT!!:D
