i just made this pancake mix yesterday for breakfast and they are absolutely delicious! they taste just like regular pancakes! they dont have that icky texture that atkins pancakes have and they have a great banana flavor with pieces of walnut in it..they have 2 grams net carbs per pancake..i put a little butter and sugar free log cabin syrup (much thicker than other sugar free syrups i have tried and it has 0 grams net carbs)...YUM! :yay:

cathafer46 did your batter come out the consistancy of cookie dough? I bought the butter pecan ones and after following the directions and checking it twice I had a thick dough like substance. The pancakes that it made smelled wonderful but no matter how long I left them on did not cook through. I have a sneaking suspician that I may have recieved the cereal mix in a pankcake package. :-(

Thanks for posting this. I was going to order some things from www.netrition.com and this product is there for 6.99. I was wondering if it's worth it or not. Now I know.
Thanks

"how much water/cream/eggs/oil did you add to the mix?"
Sorry I didn't answer this. I don't remember how much I used but I know I followed the directions. I checked them again when I realised it didn't look right. I seem to remmember two eggs and a couple cups of water though.

Gabrielle, did you ever figure out how to get them to cook through? A friend just told me she is having the same problem. She tried making the batter thinner, thicker and nothing worked. She said they taste good but she just can't get them to cook through...

when i make them i cut the recipe in half and only make 4 pancakes...when they are done cooking the inside does look like it is not cooked fully but if you feel it, its firm..but it does look uncooked

Hey Jennifer,
I actualy did figure out what the problem was. Somehow the hot cereal mix was put in the pancake package. The great thing is I mentioned it to my lowcarb store and they replaced my bag. I'm really glad they did because it is a bit much to pay another 6 dollars. The new package was fine. I made four pancakes it did cook through and it looked like pankcake batter.
