Hey all
I just wondered if anyone has Dana Carpenders cookbook? We got it the other day, and have tried about 4 different things from it. All of them were really good. Anyone got something in there that is your favorite? Hubby is doing the cooking this week, and he takes requests... Let me know what I should ask for...

On a whole other topic:
I could really use some words of encouragement right about now. (See journal for the long version) I have managed to not run to the arms of the nearest Hershey bar for comfort, but it hasn't always been easy. Especially since all the kids are doing fundraiser candy sales all day at school! Rice krispie treats and skittles and reese's, oh my!

Thanks
C

Yes, IT sure would be nice if they had some other things besides candy in their little sales flyers. Or even if they could come up with some Low-Carb candy bars. :)

Oh, yes! Between the Washington, DC trip (8th grade), the cheerleaders, the Grand Canyon trip (7th grade), the band, and who knows what else, the fact that our school got rid of the soft drink machines doesn't mean a thing!

My son and I are going to Borders in few minutes (he "has" to go! To a bookstore! I must have warped him when he was young  ) so I'll look for the Dana Carpender book. It sounds like a plus.

Hang in there...
