is there a significant difference between the amino acid
profile of animal protein and that of plant protein?
For instance, is there roughly the same amount of cysteine in
both, the same amount of arginine, the same amount of
phenylalanine, etc.?
Thanks.

Compare Lamb, Banana and Buckwheat
(Lamb) 10 mg/g Isoleucine 88 mg/g Lysine 77 mg/g Leucine 25
mg/g Methionine + Cysteine 40 mg/g Phenilalanine 42 mg/g
Threonine 10 mg/g Tryptophan 53 mg/g Valine
(Banana) 33 mg/g di Isoleucine 48 mg/g di Lysine 71 mg/g di
Leucine 28 mg/g di Methionine + Cysteine 38 mg/g di
Phenilalanine 34 mg/g di Threonine 12 mg/g di Tryptophan 47
mg/g di Valine
(Buckwheat) 37 mg/g di Isoleucine 50 mg/g di Lysine 62 mg/g di
Leucine 30 mg/g di Methionine + Cysteine 39 mg/g di
Phenilalanine 37 mg/g di Threonine 13 mg/g di Tryptophan 51
mg/g di Valine
Plant proteins compared to animal's tend to be less rich in
Lysine Nevertheless, the amount of Lysine is adequate compared
to RDA for essential amino acids
